Board & Committees
The Anderson Pointe Park Homeowners Association Board of Directors is
a 3-resident panel elected by the homeowners. Each member serves a
3-year term on the Board and all homeowners are eligible to run for a
Board seat. Each year the Board selects a President, Vice President and
Secretary/Treasurer from amongst the Board members. Each office is held
for one calendar year.
The current members of the Board of Directors are James Mauldin
(President), Nathan Wright (Vice President), and William Burgess
(Secretary/Treasurer).
The Board has approved two committees to assist in running the
Association: the Community Committee and the Appearance Committee.
The Community Committee will plan the Annual Meeting (a neighborhood barbecue), plan social
events (yard sales, etc) and advise the Board on resident communication.
The Appearance Committee will handle the Architectural Review process,
draft a landscaping plan and advise the Board on neighborhood rules and
regulations.
These committees operate under the following guidelines:
--each committee is to be made
up of 4 members (1-year terms), with a
Board member serving as a non-voting 5th member;
--each committee will be headed by a Chairperson, to serve a 1-year
term;
--residents can serve on both committees, but may only hold one Chair
at a time;
--the Board member acts as an adviser to the committee regarding the
Boards positions on issues, and will vote in the event of a tie.
Any resident interested in volunteering for a committee is encouraged
to contact the Board for more information.
